This antique Turkmen Chapan vest is made of raw silk with gorgeous hand embroidery. It was made in Turkmenistan circa 1950s-1970s. The jacket has a newer cotton lining which gives a nice weight to it. It is in good vintage condition. There are a couple minor imperfections and slightly faded portions of fabric of which add to the authenticity and uniqueness of a vintage piece.
